How to Remove Seats and Seat tracks from Firebird Trans Am and Camaro

  1. Disconnect should straps from the seat by gently twisting the triangular strap guide to free it from the seats.

  2. Now slide the seat all the way to the front and remove the two  7/16" bolts from the seat.

  3. Slide seat all the way to the back and remove the two 7/16" bolts from the front.

  4. Release the seatback and remove seat from car.

  5. With tracks slid to the back remove two front bolts from the bottom of the seat.

  6. Slide the tracks to the front to gain access to bolt and remove two bolts.
